Skills and Experience Required:

  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis and supporting multiple projects in an agile environment
  • Experienced in using Jira and Confluence
  • Conversant with SQL
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Ability to identify and create data in various formats
  • Demonstrable ability to work to deadlines and balance competing needs

About the Role
We are currently seeing to engage a Senior Technical Business Analyst for a digital transformation project.

You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team that is building a suite of enterprise applications using the latest technology stack such as cloud (AWS), microservices, ReactJS, Springboot and Java.

You will be able to identify, analyse and document business processes, systems, and other functional requirements to support the efficient delivery of Digital Revenue programs.

Work within a Digital, software Agile, enterprise scale environment.

Using Agile behaviours, in this role you will:

  • Analyse and translate business processes into meaningful insights from a broad range of datasets to enhance business performance
  • Investigate problems, analyse options and provide recommendations for new and existing services
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders and users to understand and analyse solutions to business problems and facilitate scoping of business priorities
  • Review and propose business improvements and contribute to the development, facilitation, coordination and communication of initiatives and strategies to ensure organisational consistency and adoption of best agile practice
  • Ensure the health of product backlog by working to refine, define and deconstruction stories
  • Ability to communicate acceptance criteria, formally and informally, to ensure development team has a clear understanding of shared vision for the story
  • A background in software development would be advantageous with the ability to read Java codes.

We are working in an AWS cloud environment to support and deliver business outcomes.

Salary Grade 9/10, with the base salary for this role starting at $116,211 base plus superannuation
